The CDM2000 multi-functional desktop microphone base comes with a talk button, a function button, status LEDs for speaking or function selection, a built-in loudspeaker for smaller applications with no external ampli cation, the volume control for this loudspeaker and headset can be adjusted by the two buttons with LED display at the front side of CDM2000, and a XLR connection on to connect to Xavtel’s gooseneck microphones, the mic is available in di erent length(26 cm/40 cm/48 cm/60 cm), 3rd party microphones can also be supported. The CDM2000 also comes with the ve buttons for voting and rating, and RFID card reader for attendee sign-in identi cation. Furthermore, the side panel of CDM2000 has 2 mini jack connectors, one is a microphone input, the other is a line output. The CDM2000 will be shipped with a 2.5m microphone cable, which will be connected to the mini XLR connector on the rear side of the unit. The Senator Designer software allows the CDM2000 to be programmed and switched from the standard "Delegate mode" into an "Interpreter mode", making it as an easy and cost e ective Interpreter station. In this case, either the internal loudspeaker and microphone of CDM2000 can be used for the interpreter(sitting in a di erent room) or the mini jack connections can be used to connect to a 3rd party headset; therefore, the interpreter can sit in the same room and listen to the oor channel while translating into another language.
