The CDM900 is a multi-use desktop microphone base, it comes with a built-in loudspeaker and allows you to switch between three modes (delegate, chairperson or interpreter). Fitted with two buttons and status LEDs for speaking or function selection, the CDM900 is equipped with a 5-pin DIN microphone connection to link to Xavtel’s removable CLM gooseneck microphones, the mic is available in di erent lengths (26 cm, 48 cm and 60 cm). The CDM900 contains an internal loudspeaker for smaller applications with no external ampli cation. The loudspeaker’s volume settings can be adjusted via a volume control, which is located at the right side of the unit alongside two mini jack connectors, a microphone input and a headphone output. To control and program the entire Senator 900 system, including the system conguration, DSP parameter adjustment and other audio management, this can be easily done via a web browser. The web browser allows the CDM900 to be programmed and switched from the standard “Delegate mode” to the “Interpreter mode”, making it an easy and cost-e ective interpreter station. In the latter mode, either the internal loudspeaker and microphone of the CDM900 can be used by the interpreter (in a di erent room), or the mini jack connections can be connected to a third-party headset. The latter allows the interpreter to sit in the same room and listen to the oor channel while conducting simultaneous translation. To facilitate easy usage, two LEDs are placed over the talk and function buttons to indicate the status of the CDM900. In addition, the CDM900 comes with a pair of mic cable with 8-pin DIN connector, which will be connected to the DCP900 processor or the next CDM900 in a redundant loop or daisy chain.
