TERRA-lEX is designed for simple point to point or point to multi-point audio distribution as well as converting the analog audio via Ethernet/Internet network without the need of a computer. TERRA-lEX incorporates the high quality MP3 encoder and decoder, the decoder is to convert the MP3 audio from network, and encoder can convert the analog audio such as CD player or Internet AM/FM radio to network. The internal memory of TERRA-IEX supports up to 80MByte for music/message/recording storage, the audio les can be simply stored through a computer in local network and play the les to the local. The typical application can integrate the BGM playing and emergency call using one TERRA-lEX. Normally, TERRA-lEX is used for decoding the MP3 audio streaming from network, and a push button is connected to the control input of TERRA-lEX for emergency call, also, an external microphone is connected to mic input, lastly, program one or several target IP addresses on TERRA-IEX web browser. When the push button is being pushed, the BGM playing will be stopped automatically, and the emergency call will be triggered to play to the pre-programmed target, or to many targets in sequence as pre-de ned, the call can be a live broadcasting or pre-de ned messages.
